B i o g r a p h y

Praised for her "clear mezzo" voice (southfloridaclassicalreview.com), Abigail Kasenow is a graduate of Oberlin Conservatory of Music.


Abigail recently appeared as the alto soloist in Mozart’s Requiem with First Presbyterian Church of Ann Arbor and has also performed as the alto soloist for Vivaldi’s Gloria with Naples Orchestra/Chorus and appeared twice as the alto soloist for Handel’s Messiah with Oberlin Conservatory of Music.


Her recent opera credits include the role of China Cup/Dragonfly (L’enfant et les sortilèges) with Opera MODO in Detroit, as well as Madame de la Haltière (Cendrillon) and Bianca (The Rape of Lucretia) at Oberlin Conservatory of Music, and Mrs. Herring in Miami Summer Music Festival's production of AlbertHerring. 


Abigail has worked with world class musicians and faculty at prestigious voice programs including CoOperative at Westminster Choir College, Songfest at Colburn, and Miami Music Festival.

 

She currently resides in Livonia, MI and studies with Jim Patterson.
